About the Role
You will assist with accurate and timely fund Net Asset Value production. You will price positions, verify corporate actions, process capital activity and accounting transactions, perform cash and position reconciliations, investigate reconciling items, coordinate fund queries, review work, and support staff training.
Requirements
- Degree in Business, Accounting, or a related field
- Approximately 2 years of related fund accounting experience
- Knowledge of cash and position reconciliation in hedge or mutual funds
- Knowledge of equities, futures, fixed income, and options
- Knowledge of corporate actions
- Attention to detail
- Numerical and analytical skills
- Computer literacy
- Communication skills
- Organizational skills
- Supervisory experience is advantageous
Responsibilities
- Assist with accurate and timely Net Asset Value production
- Ensure positions are priced correctly
- Verify accurate processing of corporate actions
- Process and review fund capital activity
- Perform cash and position reconciliations
- Supervise investigation and resolution of reconciling items
- Coordinate with departments on fund queries and reconciliations
- Process and review accounting transactions
- Assist with staff training and development
