About the Role
You will lead and mentor the transaction monitoring engineering team, own off-chain detection algorithms, and build on-chain monitoring and supporting data pipelines. You will design architectures, data models, detection logic, and tuning frameworks, translate requirements into engineering plans, and improve alert quality with stakeholder teams.
Requirements
- 8+ years of backend engineering experience
- 2+ years leading or tech-leading a team
- Financial ecosystem knowledge in fintech, payments, banking, or crypto
- Understanding of financial crime or compliance concepts
- Data structures and algorithms knowledge
- Experience with high-performance concurrent code
- Architecture and detailed implementation design ownership
- Experience with high-throughput, low-latency data systems
- Streaming, analytical store, and distributed batch processing experience
- Written and verbal communication with non-engineering stakeholders
- AI coding and coding harness experience

- Lead, mentor, and grow the transaction monitoring engineering team
- Own implementation of the off-chain transaction-monitoring detection suite
- Build on-chain monitoring and supporting data pipelines
