About the Role
You will label, annotate, record, and review multilingual audio content. You will translate and localize English text into Yoruba, curate high-quality speech data, improve audio annotation workflows, and help develop tasks for speech and multilingual-audio processing.
Requirements
- Native proficiency in Yoruba, including exposure to accents, dialects, or regional variations
- English proficiency at minimum B2 level
- Strong auditory perception of accents, pronunciation, intonation, and audio quality
- Ability to evaluate multilingual speech and transcribe audio accurately
- Ability to translate and localize between English and Yoruba
- Ability to provide high-quality voice recordings and feedback
- Strong communication, analytical, organizational, and audio-feedback skills
- Computer running ChromeOS, macOS 11.0 or later, or Windows 10 or later when using a personal device
Responsibilities
- Label, annotate, record, and provide inputs for multilingual audio projects
- Translate and localize text from English into Yoruba
- Curate audio data for natural spoken output and accurate linguistic details
- Develop tasks that improve speech modulation, accent handling, noise handling, and multilingual audio processing
- Improve annotation tools for audio workflows
