About the Role

You will annotate and curate multilingual audio data, record and review voice samples, and translate and localize English text into Khmer. You will help improve speech recognition, voice interactions, annotation workflows, and the handling of accents, prosody, and noisy recordings.

Requirements

• Native proficiency in Khmer with exposure to diverse accents, dialects, or regional variations
• English proficiency at minimum B2 level
• Strong auditory perception
• Ability to evaluate multilingual audio content
• Ability to transcribe audio accurately across accents and audio quality levels
• Ability to translate and localize text between English and Khmer
• Ability to provide high-quality voice recordings and feedback
• Strong comprehension and independent judgment for ambiguous audio material
• Strong communication, interpersonal, analytical, detail-oriented, and organizational skills
• Computer running ChromeOS, macOS 11.0 or later, or Windows 10 or later when using a personal device

Responsibilities

• Provide labels, annotations, recordings, and inputs for multilingual audio projects
• Translate and localize English text strings into Khmer
• Deliver curated audio data with accurate linguistic and prosodic details
• Collaborate on tasks that improve speech modulation, accent variation, noise handling, and multilingual audio processing
• Improve annotation tools for audio workflows
