About the Role
You will own perception from prototype through fleet deployment. You will build vision systems for geometry, pose, terrain, calibration, and sensor fusion; evaluate their effect on robot behavior; and make capabilities reliable on deployed hardware.
Requirements
- Experience shipping perception systems on physical hardware
- Experience training, evaluating, and deploying detection, depth, or pose-estimation models in PyTorch
- Deep experience with geometric computer vision and camera calibration
- Experience owning a capability from definition through deployment
- Strong Python and modern C++
- 5+ years of relevant industry experience or an advanced degree with equivalent hands-on experience
Responsibilities
- Recover robot geometry from camera data through kinematic calibration
- Deliver depth and scene reconstruction for locomotion and manipulation
- Ship human and object pose-estimation models
- Synchronize and fuse camera and inertial-sensor data
- Automate, monitor, and recover camera calibration across the fleet
- Establish datasets and metrics that measure robot behavior improvements
