About the Role
You will improve automated optical inspection, train and deploy models for robotic picking, and build calibration and image-alignment systems. You will create data and labelling workflows, optimise high-speed camera and GPU pipelines, and measure production accuracy against past results.
Requirements
- Have shipped computer vision into production
- Have strong software engineering skills in Python, C++, or a comparable language
- Know classical computer vision and deep learning
- Use coding agents and take ownership of their output
- Have interest in physical vision systems
Responsibilities
- Improve automated optical inspection for board defects
- Train and deploy models for part detection and robotic picking
- Build fiducial detection, calibration, and image-alignment systems
- Create data capture and labelling workflows
- Turn operator verdicts into training data
- Optimise high-speed camera and GPU capture pipelines
- Track production accuracy and validate changes against past results
