About the Role
You will solve physical design challenges across advanced nodes and develop RTL-to-GDS methodologies. You will deploy AI and ML solutions in production flows, optimize EDA and CAD tools, and collaborate with engineering functions and EDA vendors to improve PPA, runtime, and quality of results.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Electrical or Computer Engineering or equivalent experience
- 5+ years of experience in Physical Design CAD methodology at advanced nodes
- Experience improving PPA or runtime on taped-out high-performance low-power designs
- Experience with EDA tools across synthesis, P&R, STA, signoff, and hierarchical flows
- Python and Tcl skills
- Data skills
- Interest or experience in ML frameworks including PyTorch and TensorFlow
Responsibilities
- Lead cross-functional efforts to solve physical design challenges
- Develop and enhance RTL-to-GDS methodologies
- Architect and deploy AI and ML-driven solutions in production flows
- Optimize EDA tools and custom CAD flows using data-driven and ML-based techniques
- Collaborate with verification, extraction, timing, DFT, and EDA vendors
