About the Role
You will build proofs of concept, MVPs, and production integrations alongside customer engineering teams. You will architect inference deployments, run benchmarks and load tests, tune serving configurations, and troubleshoot production issues. You will guide model selection, fine-tuning, and evaluation work while leading technical discovery and translating field feedback into platform improvements.
Requirements
- 5+ years in a hands-on customer-facing technical role
- Experience shipping production software in customer environments
- Python
- Kubernetes
- Infrastructure engineering
- LLM inference, model serving, and fine-tuning workflows
- Cloud infrastructure including AWS, Azure, or GCP
- GPU infrastructure
- Communication skills
- Experience with agentic systems, tool-use chains, or AI-native developer toolchains
Responsibilities
- Build end-to-end POCs and MVPs with customer engineering teams
- Architect scalable inference foundations and deployments
- Run load tests and tune deployments for latency, throughput, and cost targets
- Deploy and validate model families using vLLM and SGLang
- Guide model selection, fine-tuning strategy, and evaluation methodology
- Build fine-tuning pipelines and evaluation frameworks
- Lead discovery conversations and own technical customer relationships
- Embed on-site with customer teams
- Translate customer feedback into product proposals and roadmap input
- Document repeatable deployment patterns
