About the Role

Work at Alumni Ventures as an AI Associate helping teams apply generative AI to improve workflows, decision-making, and execution across operations, people, finance, legal, investments, and other functions. This is an expression-of-interest opportunity for current or future AI Pod openings.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Data Science, Engineering, or equivalent experience.
  • Strong scripting skills, with Python preferred, and familiarity with APIs and automation platforms.
  • Experience with generative AI tools and fluency in prompt design and deployment.
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills.
  • Entrepreneurial mindset with a bias for action.
  • Highly organized and detail-oriented with strong time management skills.
  • Adaptable and resourceful in a dynamic, fast-paced environment.
  • Collaborative, discreet, and able to build trusted relationships with teams and senior leaders.
  • Authorized to work in the United States without current or future employer-sponsored visa sponsorship.

Responsibilities

  • Partner closely with leaders on high-priority projects, meetings, and strategic initiatives.
  • Draft communications, synthesize insights, and ensure timely follow-ups.
  • Build, test, and refine AI-driven workflows, prompt libraries, and toolkits.
  • Pilot and evaluate emerging AI platforms including ChatGPT, Claude, Perplexity, and Gemini.
  • Use automation platforms and APIs to integrate AI solutions into existing systems.
  • Identify and implement scalable AI-enhanced processes across departments.
  • Translate strategic objectives into efficient, consistent operational workflows.
  • Standardize best practices into repeatable models shared across teams.
  • Champion AI adoption and help colleagues build confidence using new tools.
  • Research and recommend technologies that expand organizational capabilities.
  • Drive experimentation, iteration, and continuous learning.
