About the Role
You will set up AGVs and peripheral equipment, conduct pre-shipment inspections and performance evaluations, and improve shipment processes. You will establish procedures, quality standards, KPIs, and operating rules, coordinate process improvements with other departments, and help build the operational foundation for the Okazaki site.
Requirements
- Experience assembling or commissioning industrial equipment, AGVs, or factory automation equipment
- Experience setting up, adjusting, and troubleshooting equipment
- Experience improving and standardizing manufacturing, shipment, or commissioning processes
- Basic networking knowledge, including IP configuration and connectivity verification
Responsibilities
- Set up AGVs and peripheral equipment
- Conduct pre-shipment inspections and performance evaluations
- Design and continuously improve AGV shipment processes
- Create work procedures, inspection standards, and operating rules
- Improve quality and operational efficiency
- Manage shipment progress and establish quality-control systems
- Identify operational issues and lead improvement initiatives
- Build shipment operations and management foundations for the Okazaki site
- Design KPIs and standardize operations
- Prepare processes for future outsourcing and operational handovers
