About the Role
You will lead the technical vision and delivery of an agentic mission-management platform. You will build AI agents, MCP servers, evaluation suites, and backend services that turn operator intent into valid collection plans. You will mentor engineers and incorporate GEOINT tradecraft, orbital mechanics, sensor models, security, and accreditation requirements.
Requirements
- 7+ years of professional experience in software engineering, mission systems, or GEOINT or remote-sensing systems
- Demonstrated technical leadership on R&D or prototype efforts for IC or DoD customers
- Deep knowledge of the GEOINT tasking and collection lifecycle
- Hands-on experience building LLM-powered agents or tools
- Proficiency in Python
- Experience with backend services and APIs
- Ability to decompose complex mission problems
- Experience hardening, testing, and securing prototype capabilities for production
- Active U.S. Top Secret/SCI clearance or TS clearance with SCI eligibility
- U.S. Person status or eligibility for required export authorization
Responsibilities
- Own the technical vision, roadmap, and execution for the mission-management effort
- Represent the work to intelligence-community and national-security customers
- Lead the design of an agentic architecture
- Design, implement, and deploy production-ready AI agents
- Translate operator intent into structured collection requests and valid collection plans
- Build explainability, auditability, and operator trust into AI recommendations
- Develop and maintain MCP servers for mission systems
- Build evaluation suites for realistic tasking scenarios
- Collaborate with domain experts to encode tradecraft, policy, and safety constraints
- Mentor and lead AI and mission-software engineers
- Generate collection context from all-source inputs
- Use LLMs to accelerate code scaffolding, testing, and documentation
