About the Role
You will design, develop, optimize, and analyze reactor models using modeling and simulation codes. You will develop fuel-cycle models, communicate research through publications and presentations, manage work within scope and budget, and mentor early-career staff.
Requirements
- PhD in Nuclear Engineering or a closely related field
- Knowledge of nuclear reactor analysis research and development demonstrated through research and publications
- Experience with SCALE, VERA, MCNP, Serpent, OpenMC, or MOOSE
- Familiarity with reactor systems and concepts
- Writing and communication skills
- Ability to publish
