About the Role
You will lead ad monetisation strategy and act as the primary contact for ad networks, negotiating deals and managing SDK rollouts. You will analyze weekly revenue metrics, recommend optimisation experiments, and pilot new networks. You will work with product to balance ad revenue with subscriptions and user experience, conduct audits of fill rates, completion rates and eCPMs, and escalate negative trends. You will seek ways to improve eCPMs by learning about user behaviour and mentor product, design and engineering teams on ad-ops best practices, tooling and vendor management.
Requirements
- Proven ideally 3+ years track record in mobile ad-ops for games and/or consumer apps with significant programmatic ad revenue and DAU
- Deep understanding of mediation platforms Unity LevelPlay AppLovin MAX and Google AdMob
- Strong analytical toolkit Excel SQL Looker
- Up-to-date on privacy regs GDPR ATT
- A network of contacts at ad networks and programmatic partners
Responsibilities
- Act as dedicated point person for ad networks
- Negotiate deals and manage SDK rollouts
- Analyze weekly revenue metrics and recommend optimisation experiments
- Scout and pilot new networks including offer walls and niche RTB
- Collaborate with product teams to balance ad monetisation with subscriptions and user experience
- Audit fill rates completion rates and eCPMs and escalate negative trends
- Improve eCPMs by researching user behaviour
- Mentor product design and engineering on ad-ops best practices tooling and vendor management
