About the Role

You will support the BAIS proxy voting platform by onboarding portfolios, maintaining operational processes, resolving platform issues, implementing controls and reconciliations, supporting client reporting, and meeting regulatory and client obligations.

Requirements

• Undergraduate degree in finance, economics, accounting, or a relevant field.
• Two to four years of experience, preferably in an operational role.
• Interest in corporate governance and proxy voting.
• Strong interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills.
• Ability to prioritize, analyze, and resolve complex issues independently.
• Problem-solving and project management skills.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
• Corporate governance data experience is a plus.
• SQL or Python experience is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Support operational processes and procedures for the BAIS proxy voting platform.
• Develop proxy voting infrastructure expertise and troubleshoot issues with vendors, custodians, and stakeholders.
• Support partnerships with voting analysts, portfolio managers, and internal stakeholders.
• Set up new portfolios for proxy voting.
• Support and improve client reporting of proxy voting activity.
• Maintain the operational environment to meet regulatory and client obligations.
• Implement standardized control and reconciliation processes.
• Support ad hoc client and internal stakeholder requests.
