About the Role
You will oversee all accounting tasks and ensure accuracy in financial reporting. You will manage transactions across two systems and three operating entities, oversee credit cards and employee expense statements, reconcile accounts payable and receivable, ensure timely bank payments, and prepare monthly, quarterly and annual closings. You will compute taxes and prepare tax returns, and report on financial health and liquidity while ensuring compliance with financial policies and regulations. You will audit financial transactions and documents and drive process improvements and automation as needed.
Requirements
- A degree is not a prerequisite, but the candidate must be able to demonstrate accounting proficiency
- 5+ years of relevant accounting experience
- Strong accounting (Czech accounting standards and IFRS) and taxation knowledge
- Analytical mentality and the ability to translate something complex into a simple storyline
- Opportunities for improvements in execution and automation
- Attention to detail and ability to work towards tight deadlines
- Open and agile with excellent collaboration skills and ability to work in a constantly evolving environment
- Fluent English (B2/C1 level)
Responsibilities

- Compute taxes and prepare tax returns including VAT and income tax
- Report on financial health and liquidity
- Audit financial transactions and documents
- Comply with financial policies and regulations
