About the Role
Own core accounting activities, including reconciliations, month-end close, and day-to-day accounting. Identify and resolve process gaps, support financial reporting, collaborate with finance and business teams, and improve scalability through automation.
Requirements
- Newly qualified or up to 2 years post-qualification experience
- ACA, ACCA, ICAEW or equivalent qualification
- Understanding of core accounting processes
- Experience with reconciliations and month-end close
- Ability to identify, investigate and resolve issues independently
- Exposure to automation tools, AI or workflow improvement is a plus
- Consulting or Big Four background is welcome
Responsibilities
- Own reconciliations and month-end close
- Complete day-to-day accounting tasks
- Identify and fix gaps in financial processes
- Work with finance teams and stakeholders to deliver accurate reporting
- Partner with finance, data and business teams
- Identify opportunities to automate repetitive tasks
