About the Role
Manage relationships with innovative international merchants across multiple industries and channels. The role covers a wide portfolio of accounts, customer growth and satisfaction, commercial discussions, project prioritization, internal collaboration, and customer feedback. Adyen provides an AM Academy to support professional development.
Requirements
- At least 2 years of experience in a client-facing commercial role such as account management, sales, or payments from a merchant side.
- Experience with complex enterprise software, technical infrastructure, or financial services is a bonus.
- Strong relationship-building skills with internal and external stakeholders.
- Interest in managing a broad portfolio of accounts and learning about payments.
- Ability to identify commercial opportunities and lead customer discussions.
- Strong time management skills.
- Full professional written and verbal proficiency in Dutch and English.
- Availability for some domestic and international travel.
Responsibilities
- Collaborate with other Account Managers across multiple accounts.
- Ramp and grow customers with a focus on commercial growth, customer satisfaction, and reducing churn.
- Drive commercial discussions for joint accounts while meeting strategic and financial targets.
- Prioritize and manage short- and long-term projects across multiple accounts using internal support teams.
- Serve as an internal feedback loop for customers.
