About the Role
You will develop software that connects accelerator chips to host systems. You will specialize in ASIC software, platform firmware, or host-side kernel and driver development while contributing across the other areas. You will work on chip initialization, power management, device interfaces, memory management, command queues, and validation.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience
- Software development fundamentals including data structures and algorithms
- Experience shipping and testing production software
- Experience in firmware design, implementation, and debugging
- Familiarity with embedded architectures and ARM, PCIe, DMA, HBM, DRAM, Ethernet, and UART
- Knowledge of scalability, fault tolerance, and consistency
Responsibilities
- Develop ASIC software for inference instruction execution, CPU initialization, bootloaders, I/O drivers, power management, DMA, and validation
- Develop microcontroller software for power sequencing, telemetry, and firmware updates
- Develop Linux kernel drivers and host software for device programming
- Implement PCIe-visible memory management, command queues, and SRIOV virtual-function device management
- Collaborate with hardware engineers during schematic and bring-up phases
