About the Role

You will define rack- and cluster-level reference architectures for AI infrastructure. You will translate workload requirements into system specifications, evaluate architectural tradeoffs, align stakeholders and vendors, identify technology gaps, influence roadmaps, and lead proof-of-concept validation efforts.

Requirements

• System architecture experience for large-scale infrastructure or data center environments
• Knowledge of AI workload characteristics and system-level design decisions
• Experience using performance modeling outputs to inform architectural direction
• Experience working with or managing hardware vendors
• Ability to align stakeholders with competing constraints
• Ability to turn ambiguous requirements into executable system designs
• Experience defining rack- or cluster-level systems for hyperscale or AI workloads
• Familiarity with accelerators, interconnects, and data center networking architectures
• Experience with infrastructure deployment, hardware engineering, or systems integration
• Experience leading proof-of-concept or early-stage hardware validation efforts

Responsibilities

• Define rack- and cluster-level reference architectures for AI infrastructure deployments
• Translate workload requirements into system design specifications and partner deliverables
• Collaborate with performance modeling teams to evaluate architectural tradeoffs and system behavior
• Align internal stakeholders and external partners on system performance, cost, power, reliability, and scalability
• Identify technology gaps and drive hardware vendors to address them
• Influence vendor roadmaps and reference designs
• Track emerging technologies and evaluate their applicability to AI systems
• Define and lead proof-of-concept efforts to validate architectures and technologies
• Serve as an interface with external partners to ensure execution against design intent
