About the Role
In this role, you will work closely with stakeholders, producers, and game designers to build high-quality 3D models and textures for our game characters and worlds. You will be responsible for modeling characters and objects in high and low resolutions, performing weight mapping and rigging, creating textures, and conceptualizing and developing high-caliber animations to fire the imagination of our players.
Requirements
- Good command of the English language.
- At least 2-3 years of proven experience as a 3D artist.
- Excellent understanding of human anatomy and motion.
- Excellent understanding of design basics (relief, lighting, composition, perspective, colours, etc.).
- Excellent knowledge of Maya or 3D Max, Z-Brush, Body Paint.
- Strong knowledge of Photoshop.
- Degree in 3D, Arts, or equivalent production experience an asset.
- Well-read and well-versed in fantasy, anime and manga.
- Strong team ethic and receptive to feedback.
- Adaptability to different games and graphic styles (pixel, cartoon, realistic, illustration, etc.).
- Knowledgeable in contemporary media (Web, games, comics, film, animation, etc.).
- Experience in game production is a bonus.
- Possesses an appetite to improve constantly as an artist.
