About the Role

You will provide residents with personal care and daily-life support according to their care plans, including bathing, dressing, toileting, feeding, housekeeping, laundry, socialization, and activities. You will also document care, monitor resident conditions, schedule appointments, assist with calls, and perform or oversee staffing schedules.

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED
• At least 1 year of resident care experience
• Certified Nursing Assistant or Certified Home Health Aid certification
• Knowledge and experience working with elderly people
• Dementia experience preferred
• Ability to lift or carry up to 50 pounds

Responsibilities

• Provide bathing, dressing, toileting, and feeding assistance
• Maintain resident safety, comfort, dignity, and confidentiality
• Escort residents to meals and activities
• Document care and services in the ALIS EHR
• Monitor and report changes in resident condition
• Maintain electronic documentation devices securely
• Attend scheduled in-service training
• Ensure compliance with applicable regulations and community policies
• Provide housekeeping and laundry services when needed
• Obtain and document resident weights and vital signs when requested
• Perform and oversee staffing scheduling
• Assist with calls to families, physicians, and others
• Schedule resident appointments
