About the Role
You will maintain the health and stability of Linux-based trading infrastructure during non-standard business hours. You will perform deferred maintenance, triage production issues, manage configuration changes, develop automation, optimize system performance, and support infrastructure capacity planning.
Requirements
- 1+ years of Linux/Unix administration experience
- Python and Bash scripting
- Networking protocols and network topology, including NFS, DHCP, IP, TCP, UDP, TFTP, and NTP
- Kickstart
- Ansible

Responsibilities
- Analyze, diagnose, and resolve Linux-based server issues
- Create, test, deploy, and maintain OS packages, batch files, and scripts
- Identify optimization opportunities to reduce latency and improve efficiency
- Manage move, add, change, and configuration requests
- Liaise with internal technology groups and vendors to deliver solutions
- Assist with long-term infrastructure strategy and capacity planning
