About the Role

You will own market intelligence for the EMEA data centre sector and guide expansion decisions. You will track capacity, demand, power, land, costs, and market trends; build provider relationships; secure capacity; report to leadership; and build a market intelligence function.

Requirements

  • 10+ years in data centre or infrastructure research, market strategy, development, or capacity sourcing
  • Established network across European data centre operators, developers, and capacity providers
  • Experience establishing a research or intelligence capability and its data from scratch
  • Knowledge of power, land, and capacity markets
  • Experience working across regions, time zones, and disciplines

Responsibilities

  • Own market intelligence on data centre trends, development pipelines, competitors, contracts, and strategy
  • Drive expansion strategy across existing and new markets
  • Align market strategy with regional priorities
  • Track capacity options, inventory timelines, costs, and availability
  • Match end-user demand to development and delivery capacity
  • Build relationships with capacity providers
  • Track grid connections, power pricing, and land availability
  • Maintain cost, pricing, and AI compute demand benchmarks
  • Provide market reporting and deep dives to leadership and the board
  • Build and lead a market intelligence team
  • Maintain an industry profile through conferences, networking, and published insight
