About the Role

You will develop sophisticated performance analyses and reporting solutions supporting fundraising, investor communications, and strategic initiatives across private markets strategies. You will translate investor needs into scalable methodologies, improve reporting capabilities, guide analytical work, mentor colleagues, and support technology and data initiatives.

Requirements

  • Analytically oriented undergraduate degree in Finance, Accounting, Statistics, or a related field
  • 7+ years of experience in private markets performance analytics, investment reporting, portfolio analytics, product strategy, investor reporting, or a related function
  • Strong understanding of private markets performance measurement, including IRR, TVPI, DPI, RVPI, MOIC, benchmark methodologies, and performance attribution
  • Ability to synthesize complex investment data into clear investor-focused analyses and reporting
  • Ability to develop scalable reporting solutions that improve efficiency and consistency
  • Experience managing multiple projects from inception to completion
  • Advanced Excel skills
  • Familiarity with business intelligence tools, reporting platforms, or investment performance systems such as Burgiss/MSCI, PitchBook, or Power BI
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • CFA, CIPM, or CAIA designation or progress toward one

Responsibilities

  • Lead performance analyses for RFPs, RFIs, DDQs, consultant requests, fundraising initiatives, and investor inquiries
  • Develop custom performance presentations, track records, portfolio analyses, benchmark comparisons, and analytical deliverables
  • Translate investor requests into analyses aligned with firm methodologies and reporting standards
  • Advise internal stakeholders on performance presentation and reporting considerations
  • Design reporting capabilities and processes to address evolving investor needs
  • Collaborate with Investments, Compliance, Legal, Finance, Marketing, and Investor Relations teams to refine reporting methodologies
  • Contribute to firmwide reporting standards, analytical frameworks, and documentation
  • Convert bespoke analyses into scalable reporting solutions
  • Recommend improvements to reporting processes, data quality, and analytical infrastructure
  • Partner with Technology and Data teams to define requirements and roll out reporting capabilities and analytical tools
  • Provide technical guidance and mentorship on reporting and analytical approaches
  • Perform strategic ad hoc projects
  • Expand knowledge of fund structures, investment strategies, investment processes, and private markets
