About the Role
You will initiate and process high-volume payment transactions across multiple channels, review and validate payment requests and supporting documentation, perform pre-payment checks, reconcile bank statements with internal records, maintain accurate payment records, coordinate with internal stakeholders on payment queries, and resolve discrepancies to ensure timely and compliant payments.
Requirements
- 3+ years of experience in payments review and processing
- 3+ years of experience working with foreign currencies
- Understanding of processing payments in local and foreign currencies
- Basic working knowledge of Google Sheets
- Basic knowledge and understanding of the workings of virtual assets
- Preferably available immediately
Responsibilities
- Initiate and process high-volume payment transactions across multiple payment channels
- Review and validate payment requests for accuracy, completeness and proper authorization
- Ensure payments are executed within agreed timelines and in compliance with company policies
- Coordinate with internal stakeholders regarding payment queries
- Verify payment data accuracy including vendor details, invoice information, amounts and banking details
- Conduct pre-payment reviews to ensure all supporting documentation is complete and compliant
- Identify and resolve discrepancies in payment requests before processing
- Maintain accurate records of all payment transactions in the payment system
- Reconcile bank statements with internal payment records to ensure accuracy
