About the Role

You will monitor and handle travel rule transactions using third-party solutions and internal systems. You will ensure transactions meet sender and receiver information requirements for applicable jurisdictions, pause or prevent transactions that do not comply, investigate and document suspicious activity, escalate issues, and prepare accurate reporting and tracking logs.

Requirements

  • College degree with strong academic credentials
  • 2+ years compliance experience relevant to the role
  • Knowledge of travel rule requirements in the US, UK, EU, and Bermuda
  • Familiarity with travel rule solutions and networks (Notabene, Trust, SumSub, etc.)
  • Strong time management and organizational skills
  • Ability to work under tight deadlines and multi task while maintaining attention to detail
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Strong interpersonal skills to work across regions and business units
  • Familiarity with Google Suite and Microsoft Office products
  • Proficiency in Excel including pivot tables and VLOOKUP (preferred)
  • Crypto experience a plus

Responsibilities

  • Monitor and handle travel rule related transactions using third party and internal systems
  • Ensure transactions meet sender and receiver information requirements per jurisdictional rules
  • Prevent noncompliant transactions until required information is obtained
  • Coordinate periodic account and customer reviews to detect suspicious activity and document investigation steps
  • Identify and escalate issues that impact travel rule compliance
  • Ensure appropriate action is taken on accounts involved in suspicious blockchain activity
  • Support preparation and timely submission of SARs and other required reports
  • Develop and maintain tracking logs and metrics reporting
  • Improve analytical and reporting processes and support a collaborative team environment
  • Coordinate or lead additional assigned compliance activities
