About the Role
You will extend and maintain the data backbone for digital twin projects. You will design ETL and telemetry pipelines transform data from sensors devices and industrial systems and manage data architectures across relational and non-relational databases. You will evaluate emerging technologies and translate partner and client requirements into practical scalable solutions.
Requirements
- Have a strong software engineering data engineering or related technical background
- Demonstrate proficiency in Python and SQL
- Have experience designing and building data pipelines ETL processes and data integration solutions
- Have experience with cloud data services such as Azure Databricks or Snowflake
- Understand data modelling
- Have hands-on experience with relational and non-relational databases
- Have experience with telemetry IoT or streaming data
- Work autonomously and collaborate effectively with partners clients and multidisciplinary teams
- Successfully complete BPSS clearance before starting employment
Responsibilities
- Design build and maintain ETL pipelines for digital twin platforms
- Design and manage data architectures
- Select and optimise data lakes and relational and non-relational databases
- Clean transform and structure data
- Develop and optimise telemetry and data integration pipelines
- Evaluate emerging data technologies and recommend technical approaches
- Collaborate with partners clients and multidisciplinary teams to translate requirements into solutions
