About the Role
You will provide a regular view of RL research performance, experiment results, operational health, and incidents. You will partner with RL leaders to prioritize and track experiments, lead research reviews, and create lightweight processes for an evolving research environment. You will work with research, infrastructure, and data operations to remove blockers, resolve competing needs, and make informed technical trade-offs.
Requirements
- ML engineering or ML research background
- Hands-on experience with ML training pipelines
- Experience with RLHF systems
- Experience with large-scale production data infrastructure
- Experience building execution plans and operational processes
- Ability to learn unfamiliar technical domains quickly
- Stakeholder management and communication skills
- Ability to influence senior technical staff
Responsibilities
- Report on RL research performance, experiment results, operational health, and incidents
- Prioritize, rank, and track experiments with RL organization leaders
- Drive end-to-end research reviews
- Establish processes and frameworks for an unstructured research setting
- Collaborate with research, infrastructure, and data operations to remove blockers
- Prioritize competing needs and make technical trade-off decisions
