About the Role

You will own the execution of card issuing initiatives and bridge business strategy product vision and engineering delivery. You will collaborate with cross functional partners across Engineering Product Design Operations and Legal to ensure priorities are clear and blockers issues are resolved. You will translate complex technical dependencies into actionable program plans define milestones and track progress. You will ensure regulatory and security requirements are incorporated into every release. You will communicate progress risks and outcomes to stakeholders and maintain a focus on quality and schedule.

Requirements

  • 5-8+ years of proven experience as a technical program manager managing complex large scale software development program
  • Deep domain expertise within the card issuing payments ecosystem including understanding of card processors card network standards and regulatory requirements
  • Technical acumen to engage with engineers on technical design architecture discussions and data flows understanding trade offs and complexity inherent in building scalable payment systems
  • Program structuring define program scope break down projects into manageable phases and create clear multi year roadmaps
  • Exceptional communication ability to translate technical details into concise updates for executive audiences and effectively drive alignment across diverse global teams
  • Structured problem solving able to thrive in fast paced environments proactively managing competing priorities and navigating ambiguity with a pragmatic and organized approach
  • Stakeholder mastery in coordinating complex projects involving multiple internal engineering teams external vendors and critical financial partners

Responsibilities

  • Own the end to end planning scheduling and execution for major card issuing programs including feature launches and compliance updates
  • Proactively manage dependencies communication and alignment across engineering product design operations legal and external partners
  • Partner with engineering and product leaders to define technical requirements scope projects and break down ambiguous problems into actionable work items and milestones
  • Identify track and mitigate program risks escalating critical blockers and presenting clear solutions to leadership
  • Implement and refine program management frameworks tools and best practices to improve predictability quality and velocity within the issuing teams
  • Establish key performance indicators and provide regular transparent updates on program status health and achieved results to technical and executive stakeholders
  • Run effective planning sessions working groups and program reviews ensuring clear outcomes and ownership
