About the Role
You will oversee cloud and AI efficiency initiatives from prioritization through realized savings. You will maintain the cost-initiative portfolio, validate savings, build cost attribution, govern LLM and AI tooling spend, and create observability and automation for cost monitoring, anomaly detection, and triage.
Requirements
- Deep hands-on understanding of cloud infrastructure and AI/LLM economics
- Experience driving efficiency, capacity, or FinOps-adjacent programs
- Knowledge of SLOs, error budgets, telemetry, and postmortems
- Strong SQL and data skills
- Ability to query BigQuery, build Sigma workbooks, and model scenarios
Responsibilities
- Drive cloud and AI/LLM efficiency
- Own and prioritize the cost-initiative portfolio
- Validate realized savings and prevent cost regressions
- Build per-service, per-team, per-customer, and per-feature cost attribution
- Oversee LLM spend, procurement, and provider commitments
- Govern internal AI tooling spend
- Build real-time cost observability, anomaly detection, alerting, and automated triage
- Automate cost triage, regression detection, and self-service attribution
