About the Role
You will define safety-case claims, arguments, evidence structures, and traceability for robotaxi and ADAS products. You will integrate safety requirements with engineering and product work, independently assess evidence and risks, provide recommendations for release decisions, and coach leaders on structured safety assurance.
Requirements
- Experience developing or owning safety cases for complex safety-critical systems
- Systems engineering experience spanning requirements, architecture, verification, validation, and safety assurance
- Ability to translate technical evidence into structured safety claims and arguments
- Knowledge of autonomous-driving and AI/ML safety
- Experience partnering with AI/ML, engineering, systems, and product teams on safety-critical products
- Knowledge of ISO 26262, ISO 21448, ISO/PAS 8800, and ISO 3450x
- Technical communication and stakeholder-management skills
- Safety-case experience with ADAS or ADS products is desirable
- Experience with GSN or equivalent structured assurance methods is desirable
Responsibilities
- Own safety-case strategy and architecture for robotaxi and OEM ADAS products
- Define safety claims, argumentation, evidence structures, and traceability
- Develop safety arguments for AI-enabled autonomous driving
- Align safety requirements, architecture, validation plans, and release criteria
- Identify safety-argument gaps, assumptions, and weaknesses and drive resolution
- Provide independent technical challenge of safety cases and evidence
- Assess safety evidence for release and deployment decisions
- Provide recommendations to safety governance forums and senior leadership
- Coach engineering and product leaders on safety argumentation, evidence quality, and traceability
