You will set the data science agenda for Core Apps, partner with product leaders on strategy and roadmap decisions, and manage Product Data Scientists. You will establish metrics and experimentation practices, lead high-stakes analyses, communicate recommendations, and shape analytics infrastructure.

Requirements

• Extensive data science experience leading analytics for a product area at scale
• 3+ years managing data science teams
• Experience partnering with senior product and business leaders on high-stakes decisions
• Product sense and business judgment
• Expertise in experimental design, causal inference, and statistical modeling
• Python proficiency
• SQL proficiency
• Written and presentation communication skills
• Experience working in ambiguous and fast-moving environments
• Experience with AI or ML products, large language models, or developer tools

Responsibilities

• Partner with product leads on product strategy, roadmap priorities, and major bets
• Set the data science agenda and prioritization for Core Apps
• Manage and develop Product Data Scientists
• Frame ambiguous business questions, size opportunities, and make recommendations
• Define success metrics and measurement frameworks
• Set experimentation and causal-inference standards and lead high-stakes analyses
• Translate analyses into narratives and recommendations for leadership
• Establish data practices and analytics infrastructure
