Hopae is an identity-verification technology company offering global eID access through its Hopae Connect platform. Connect provides a unified API, hosted OIDC flow, and direct REST API integrations for verification against government, bank, and private identity providers. Hopae also offers an accredited, eIDAS 2.0-compliant wallet SDK. It serves identity-verification and e-signature providers, financial services, and businesses in sectors such as gambling, telecoms, retail, travel, hospitality, and mobility.

You'll be part of a growing talent pool for Hopae's Luxembourg presence, connecting with the team even when no specific open role matches your background yet. You could join a core global function such as Engineering, Product, Design, Operations, Marketing, or Business. You'll have the chance to help navigate and shape Hopae's strategy across EU regulatory frameworks like eIDAS 2.0, AML, GDPR, and MiCA. You'll build and grow partnerships with financial institutions, regulators, and enterprise clients across Benelux and the broader EU. You'll bridge Luxembourg's institutional ecosystem with Hopae's global hubs in Paris, Seoul, and San Francisco. You'll contribute to the European Digital Identity Wallet initiative and OpenWallet Foundation projects, and help establish and scale Hopae's presence in one of Europe's most strategically important markets.
Requirements
- Based in or relocating to Luxembourg
- Fluent in English; French, German, or Luxembourgish is a meaningful plus
- Comfortable operating in multilingual, multicultural, and cross-border environments
- Familiar with or curious about EU financial regulation, digital identity, or regtech
- Thrives in fast-moving, async, globally distributed teams
Responsibilities
- Join a core global function such as Engineering, Product, Design, Operations, Marketing, or Business
- Help navigate and shape Hopae's strategy across EU regulatory frameworks (eIDAS 2.0, AML, GDPR, MiCA)
- Build and grow partnerships with financial institutions, regulators, and enterprise clients across Benelux and the broader EU
- Bridge Luxembourg's institutional ecosystem with Hopae's global hubs in Paris, Seoul, and San Francisco
- Contribute to the European Digital Identity Wallet initiative and OpenWallet Foundation projects
- Help establish and scale Hopae's presence in Luxembourg
