About the Role

You will translate customer and vehicle needs into system requirements, architecture, interfaces, and validation plans for Vehicle OS integrations. You will maintain traceability, automate testing, coordinate bench and vehicle validation, investigate issues, and support process compliance across Japan and US teams.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of automotive systems engineering, verification, or validation experience
  • Experience with requirements engineering and the V-model development process
  • Hands-on experience with HIL/SIL environments and automotive test tools
  • Understanding of CAN, LIN, Automotive Ethernet, SOME/IP, UDS, and DoIP
  • Fluency in English and Japanese

Responsibilities

  • Capture, analyze, and break down system and software requirements for Vehicle OS integrations
  • Define system architecture, interfaces, and signal and service specifications
  • Maintain traceability from requirements through design, implementation, and test
  • Develop SIL, HIL, and in-vehicle test strategies, plans, and cases
  • Build and maintain test automation in CI/CD pipelines
  • Coordinate validation campaigns, triage issues, and drive root-cause analysis
  • Track validation coverage and readiness for SoP milestones
  • Support ASPICE and ISO 26262 compliance activities
  • Set up integration and validation workflows across Japan and US time zones
