About the Role
You will develop and manage propulsion-system requirements, interfaces, verification strategies, and engineering baselines. You will support development and test activities, review data, investigate anomalies, coordinate multidisciplinary technical work, and communicate engineering analyses and recommendations to stakeholders.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Aerospace Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Systems Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a related technical field with 4–15 years of relevant experience, or equivalent additional experience
- Experience applying systems engineering principles to complex aerospace hardware, propulsion systems, or integrated technical products
- Familiarity with requirements management and model-based systems engineering concepts
- Experience supporting solid rocket motors or solid propulsion systems
- Ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. security clearance
- U.S. Person status
Responsibilities
- Prepare systems engineering artifacts, technical analyses, requirements documentation, and verification evidence
- Support propulsion development and test activities
- Review test plans and data and support anomaly investigations
- Coordinate multidisciplinary teams to resolve technical issues and manage interfaces
- Support system architecture, trade studies, configuration management, and engineering baselines
- Develop verification and validation strategies, plans, methods, and matrices
- Define and manage interfaces among propulsion systems and integrated subsystems
- Develop, allocate, and maintain system and subsystem requirements
- Lead systems engineering activities across the propulsion product lifecycle
