About the Role
You will develop POSIX-based middleware and embedded software from application layers to hardware abstraction layers. You will design deterministic, scalable solutions for distributed and embedded systems, develop products and tools, and bring up and debug software on hardware prototypes.
Requirements
- 10+ years of embedded software development experience with POSIX-based operating systems
- Experience designing scalable, modular middleware for real-time or safety-critical systems
- Knowledge of DDS, SOME/IP, gRPC, OS abstraction layers, and service-based architectures
- Experience building middleware for cross-domain applications
- Knowledge of multi-core scheduling, process isolation, and resource management on automotive-grade SoCs
- Experience bringing up software on hardware prototypes and conducting system-level debugging and profiling
Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain POSIX-based middleware and embedded software systems
- Develop products, features, and tools across the software stack
- Design efficient and deterministic solutions for distributed and embedded engineering challenges
- Ship mission-critical software in fast-paced environments
- Work with Linux, QNX, VxWorks, and service-oriented communication frameworks
