About the Role
You will own quality for mechanical equipment from qualification through delivery. You will conduct supplier audits, production-readiness reviews, source inspections, and factory acceptance test witnessing. You will define inspection and test plans, investigate quality escapes, drive corrective actions, and verify fixes at supplier facilities.
Requirements
- Experience in supplier quality for mechanical or HVAC equipment manufacturers
- Experience witnessing factory acceptance tests
- Ability to write inspection plans from drawings and specifications
- Experience closing corrective actions with evidence
- Liquid cooling equipment experience
- ASME quality systems
- ISO quality systems
- Welding inspection
- Brazing inspection
- PPAP
- APQP
Responsibilities
- Own supplier quality for mechanical equipment from qualification through delivery
- Conduct supplier audits, production-readiness reviews, and source inspections
- Define supplier inspection and test plans
