About the Role

You will audit supplier processes, identify improvements to cost, lead times, and quality, and conduct on-site supplier audits. You will assess supplier capabilities, provide manufacturing guidance, monitor performance, mitigate supply-chain risks, and support supplier readiness for new products.

Requirements

• Have 7 or more years of supply chain, manufacturing engineering, or process engineering experience
• Use CAD tools including SolidWorks, NX, or CATIA
• Use Excel for data analysis
• Use PLM or ERP systems
• Read drawings and GD&T
• Understand machining, welding, and forming processes
• Lead root-cause investigations using 8D or 5 Whys
• Have experience with suppliers or production lines
• Travel up to 50%

Responsibilities

• Audit supplier processes to identify cost, lead-time, and quality improvements
• Conduct on-site audits to identify supplier quality and performance issues
• Assess and improve supplier capabilities
• Provide technical guidance on specifications, manufacturing processes, standards, and quality measures
• Track supplier delivery, quality, and cost metrics
• Implement corrective actions and continuous-improvement plans
• Identify and mitigate supply-chain risks
• Support supplier readiness for new-product introductions
