About the Role
You will help oversee financial health and operational efficiency by analyzing results against budgets, maintaining the operating model, and investigating financial trends. You will manage cash flow, expenses, accounts payable, accounts receivable, payroll, and treasury holdings. You will also work with external accounting advisors and vendors to support accurate and compliant reporting.
Requirements
- 2-4 years of finance experience in client services corporate finance or both
- Experience building an operational budget analyzing performance and reporting budget variance
- High proficiency in Google Sheets and/or Excel
- Understanding of accounting principles and financial operations including monthly close processes
- Curiosity about crypto and web3 with openness to learning new tools and frameworks
- Familiarity with financial tools such as QuickBooks Ramp Cryptio or Deel
- Prior professional experience in crypto or web3
Responsibilities
- Analyze financial results and track performance against budget
- Maintain the operating model and incorporate strategic plans
- Perform ad hoc analyses of financial trends
- Manage cash flow and optimize working capital
- Manage expenses accounts payable accounts receivable and payroll
- Track and manage fiat and crypto treasury holdings
- Partner with external accounting advisors and vendors on accounting and reporting
