About the Role
You will work in a small interdisciplinary Fellow pod to define ambitious open problems in your scientific or engineering field. You will build datasets, simulations, and rigorous evaluations, identify where models fall short, and apply Claude and relevant scientific tools to advance those problems.
Requirements
- Experience using Claude and Claude Code
- PhD in a STEM field
- Several years of postdoctoral or faculty experience
- Authorization to work in the United States
Responsibilities
- Define grand challenges and long-horizon open problems in your field
- Build datasets, simulations, and rigorous evaluations
- Identify where models fall short of expert scientific judgment
- Apply Claude, test-time compute strategies, and scientific software to open problems
