About the Role
You will execute V-BAT flight operations under established procedures and regulations. You will help develop and improve operating procedures, checklists, and training materials; support pilot training and evaluations; participate in test and customer events; maintain flight records; and work with engineering, operations, and training to improve processes.
Requirements
- Current or prior UAS pilot experience or equivalent military aviation experience
- Understanding of aviation principles, flight safety, and mission planning
- Experience in standardized or highly procedural environments
- Ability to follow and enforce operational protocols
- Communication and teamwork skills
- Willingness to travel and support field operations
- Experience with V-BAT or similar platforms
- Military aviation experience
- Instructor pilot or evaluator experience
- Familiarity with FAA Part 107 or COA operations
- Experience in test, evaluation, or operational standardization roles
Responsibilities
- Execute V-BAT flight operations in accordance with operating procedures and regulations
- Serve as a subject matter expert in V-BAT system operations
- Develop, validate, and improve operating procedures, checklists, and training materials
- Conduct pre-flight, in-flight, and post-flight procedures under safety and quality standards
- Support pilot training and evaluation
- Collaborate with engineering, operations, and training teams to improve processes
- Participate in test events, demonstrations, and customer-facing operations
- Maintain accurate flight logs, reports, and documentation
- Ensure compliance with FAA regulations and applicable governing bodies
