About the Role
You will lead electromechanical manufacturing for compute racks, automotive harnesses, and assemblies. You will establish DFM practices, coordinate supply and documentation needs, assess suppliers, improve manufacturing lines, communicate program risks, and lead troubleshooting, root-cause analysis, yield improvement, testing, and automation.
Requirements
- 7+ years of manufacturing engineering experience in a complex environment
- Track record of managing complex system builds
- Automotive, heavy industry, or aerospace experience
- Hands-on manufacturing experience with line bring-up, testing, fixture design, and automation
- Experience taking a system from design to scale production
- Ability to identify root causes and lead solutions for line and field issues
- DFx experience
Responsibilities
- Lead electromechanical manufacturing for compute rack assemblies, automotive harnessing, and electromechanical assemblies
- Lead electromechanical DFM and best practices
- Coordinate component supply with supply chain and commercial teams
- Identify and evaluate suppliers for component builds
- Coordinate documentation with engineering, test, and quality teams
- Communicate program progress, milestones, and risks
- Evaluate and improve manufacturing line design
- Lead manufacturing troubleshooting, root cause analysis, yield improvement, testing, and automation
- Lead DFx efforts with design teams
