About the Role
You will build and operate data pipelines, stores, schemas, and interfaces that support safeguards systems. You will maintain high operational standards, enforce data governance and access controls, handle sensitive data carefully, design for cloud portability, and create tooling for analysts, investigators, and researchers.
Requirements
- Proficiency in Python and SQL
- Experience building and operating production data pipelines or data stores
- Ability to work across data ingestion, storage, and consumption
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent education, training, or experience
Responsibilities
- Build and operate the Safeguards data platform, including pipelines, warehouses, data stores, schemas, and interfaces
- Maintain Safeguards systems and reduce manual operational effort
- Own data governance and integrity, including retention, access control, privacy, lineage, and correctness
- Design portable systems across cloud providers and customer-managed environments
- Build internal tooling for analysts, investigators, and researchers
