About the Role

You will lead Crusoe Cloud’s Software Defined Networking strategy and drive performance improvements across its network infrastructure. You will guide architecture and implementation, develop Linux kernel and driver components, integrate kernel bypass technologies, leverage network accelerators, and collaborate across technical teams.

Requirements

  • 6+ years of experience building and operating high-performance networking systems
  • Proficiency in C, C++, and/or Rust
  • Deep expertise in Linux systems internals
  • Knowledge of network programming and packet processing pipelines
  • Hands-on experience with XDP/EBPF, AF_XDP, and DPDK
  • Understanding of TCP/IP, SmartNICs, DPUs, and IPUs
  • Familiarity with SR-IOV, vDPA, and scalable functions
  • Kernel or embedded development experience
  • Experience with Open vSwitch, Openflow, and Open Virtual Networking
  • Experience with coding standards, code reviews, source control, testing, and operations
  • Open-source contributions

  • Develop and execute the Software Defined Networking roadmap
  • Lead architecture decisions, design reviews, code reviews, and implementation
  • Collaborate with the network infrastructure organization
  • Design, develop, and support Linux kernel and driver components
  • Integrate XDP/EBPF, AF_XDP, and DPDK
  • Leverage SmartNICs, DPUs, and IPUs
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams on project delivery and operational excellence
