About the Role
You will build secure, scalable data infrastructure for governance, financial reporting, cloud storage, and data-platform workloads. You may design access controls and audit logging, develop pipelines and warehouses, strengthen disaster recovery, or scale processing infrastructure while optimizing performance, reliability, security, and cost.
Requirements
- 10+ years of software-engineering experience building data infrastructure, storage systems, or distributed systems
- 3+ years leading large-scale complex projects or teams
- Ability to set technical direction
- Proficiency in Python, Go, Java, or similar languages
- Infrastructure-as-code and cloud-platform experience
- Ability to balance performance, cost, security, and maintainability
- Collaboration with technical and non-technical stakeholders
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent education, training, or experience
Responsibilities
- Design and implement access-control, permission-management, audit-logging, and compliance infrastructure
- Build and maintain financial data pipelines and warehouses for reporting
- Own reliability for revenue, usage, and business-metrics systems
- Architect disaster-recovery, backup, and replication systems for cloud storage
- Scale data-processing infrastructure and enable self-service analytics
- Optimize query performance and manage infrastructure costs
