About the Role

You will own complex security-risk problems from assessment through remediation. You will build tools, automation, dashboards, and data pipelines that make risk measurable and scalable. You will assess security architectures, model threats, quantify risks, recommend remediation priorities, and work with risk owners to deliver effective roadmaps. You will also mentor engineers and help establish sound risk-engineering practices.

Requirements

• 8+ years of software engineering or security engineering experience
• Strong programming skills in Python, Go, Rust, or C/C++
• Broad security engineering knowledge with depth in at least one domain
• Experience leading complex security-risk remediation independently
• Risk judgment and threat assessment skills
• Experience leading cross-functional security initiatives
• Technical communication skills

Responsibilities

• Own complex security risks through assessment, escalation, treatment, and remediation
• Build risk quantification, intake, triage, and observability systems
• Assess architectures and create prioritized remediation roadmaps
• Model threats and calibrate risk severity and likelihood
• Apply quantitative risk methods such as calibrated estimation and Monte Carlo simulation
• Design AI-native risk tooling and dashboards
• Partner with risk owners on remediation sequencing and investment
• Mentor engineers and risk practitioners
