About the Role
You will shape data protection and platform security architecture across AI infrastructure, GPU platforms, control planes, and data lifecycles. You will design security controls, conduct threat models and reviews, prototype reference implementations, assess vendor risk, produce technical documentation, partner with stakeholders, and mentor senior engineers on secure design.
Requirements
- 10+ years of engineering experience, including 5+ years in security architecture, platform security, or data protection at cloud or infrastructure scale
- Expertise in encryption, key management, cryptographic protocols, data loss prevention, and confidential computing
- Experience designing multi-tenant platform security architecture across bare-metal GPU clusters, hypervisors, KVM, Kubernetes, and public cloud
- Ability to prototype security designs in Python, Go, or similar languages
- Experience with threat modeling methodologies and security design reviews
- Stakeholder management experience with IT, Legal, and HR
- Ability to balance enterprise security controls with employee experience and productivity
Responsibilities
- Architect and standardize data protection controls, including data classification, key management, data loss prevention, and privacy controls
- Define data lifecycle security controls for datasets, checkpoints, and model artifacts
- Design confidential computing, envelope encryption, and hardware-backed security controls
- Establish zero-trust data access policies and fine-grained authorization frameworks
- Design platform security architecture for multi-tenant GPU infrastructure, bare-metal clusters, hypervisors, and Kubernetes
- Define tenant isolation, sandboxing, and secure virtualization controls
- Conduct threat modeling, architectural reviews, and risk assessments
- Prototype security controls and reference implementations in Python or Go
- Develop AI-powered capabilities for threat modeling, policy validation, and data discovery
- Assess third-party vendor risks and build automated vendor-security tooling
- Author security whitepapers, architectural blueprints, and customer-facing trust documentation
- Mentor senior engineers on secure design, platform security, and threat modeling
