About the Role
You will serve as the technical lead for mobile trading tools while remaining hands-on with iOS development. You will design scalable iOS architecture, build real-time trading and research interfaces, improve performance and reliability, align iOS and Android platforms, integrate AI capabilities, guide technical planning, and mentor engineers.
Requirements
- 8+ years of professional iOS application development experience
- Extensive experience building and maintaining large-scale applications with Swift, UIKit, and SwiftUI
- Experience owning the technical direction of a product area or platform
- Experience designing scalable mobile architecture, component design, and testing strategies for data-intensive or real-time use cases
- Experience leading technical initiatives across multiple teams or platforms
- Working knowledge of Android development principles
- Experience collaborating with product, design, backend, and infrastructure partners
- Communication skills that translate complex trading concepts into intuitive mobile experiences
- Experience mentoring engineers
Responsibilities
- Set the technical vision for mobile across iOS and Android
- Own the architecture of a scalable iOS application
- Build modular and extensible mobile architecture
- Align iOS and Android architecture, data contracts, feature parity, and release sequencing
- Improve application performance, real-time data handling, observability, and release stability
- Evolve charting and research experiences for active traders
- Lead the integration of AI-driven capabilities into mobile trading, research, and portfolio workflows
- Lead technical planning, system design reviews, implementation discussions, and incident resolution
- Partner with product, design, backend, and data teams on experiments and release decisions
- Mentor iOS and Android engineers and define engineering standards and documentation
- Influence mobile platform direction across adjacent organizations
