About the Role
Define and evolve frontend architecture, design and implement production React and Next.js applications, and deliver high-performance user experiences. Optimize server-side rendering and hydration, implement resilient state management and data fetching patterns, profile and improve frontend performance, own ambiguous high-impact problems, ship production web applications, and raise engineering standards through pragmatic technical decisions.
Requirements
- Strong experience with React
- Strong experience with Next.js
- Multiple production web applications shipped using React-based stacks
- Deep understanding of modern frontend architecture
- Knowledge of server-side rendering, hydration, and performance tradeoffs
- Experience with state management and data fetching patterns
- Experience operating in fast-moving, high-ownership environments
- Ability to work on-site in New York City
- Experience in the crypto or web3 industry (nice to have)
- Experience at a high-growth startup or scale-up (nice to have)
- Familiarity with performance profiling, analytics, and frontend observability (nice to have)
- Prior work on consumer-facing products with large active user bases (nice to have)
