About the Role

You will expand simulation frameworks, build reusable Monte Carlo infrastructure, and develop multithreaded and multiprocess simulation capabilities. You will translate evaluation needs into simulation interfaces, validate platform performance with physics models, and lead technical design and software development decisions.

Requirements

10 years of related experience with a Bachelor’s degree, 9 years with a Master’s degree, 7 years with a PhD, or equivalent work experience
Strong C++ proficiency and experience with production performance-critical software
Experience building multithreaded or multiprocess real-time aircraft-dynamics simulations
Experience developing and using Monte Carlo infrastructure for simulation campaigns
Ability to drive technical decisions, mentor engineers, and collaborate across engineering teams
Experience developing software or simulations under a defined V&V lifecycle

Responsibilities

Integrate simulators and standards into the simulation framework
Build reusable Monte Carlo infrastructure
Develop multithreaded and multiprocess simulation capabilities
Translate evaluation needs into simulation interfaces and infrastructure
Support platform performance validation using physics models
Set technical direction and lead design reviews
Mentor engineers in simulation architecture and production software development
